It’s been a little while since our last show. We’re all doing our best to settle into life outside of Caution Inc. It’s been more of an adjustment than we had thought. Anyway, I was going through some old files on my external drive and found a ton of Caution Inc stuff, some that no one other than me has ever seen. So I figured I’d make it available to anyone that’s interested.

Check it out! This is an absolutely huge file that I’ve broken up into 4 parts (so it doesn’t take forever to download). These links point to zip files containing more Caution Inc stuff than has ever been released before. In fact a lot of it has never been released for internet download.

These downloads are subject to a time restriction, they’re hosted on sendspace. Which means that they’ll remain available for download as long as people keep downloading them. After an inactivity period (no downloads for 30 days) sendspace will remove them from the server. So get these files while you still can! I’ll probably never bother to re-up them.

If (when) they disappear and you didn’t get them, and really want them you’ll have to either give or mail me a blank CD and I’ll burn the files to that. Please note, if you’re mailing me a blank CD you’ll have to include a self addressed stamped envelope (or bubble mailer) big enough to fit the CD. If you don’t I’ll use the blank to burn a Lady Gaga album and leave it in a random place with your name on it.

Flyers and Logos (25.3mb): This file contains as many of the flyers from past shows as I could get my hands on. Resolution and size may vary. It also contains a lot of our old logos, and some images and logos that were never used.

Music (97.2mb): This file contains 3 Caution Inc releases – CAUTION INC EP, NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU, and 10/200 SINGLE. Proceed with Caution (live from the Dungeon) was not included because I don’t happen to have it on my computer anymore, and I’m too lazy to put it on again. Party Time is also not included in this because it’s still for sale! Talk to one of us if you still need a copy.

Videos (131mb): This contains 9 videos from one of our live shows that happened on Halloween at the Dungeon. It also has a video of Caution Inc doing an interview on Riot Radio.

There is really no way to put this. So I will try to keep it short and sweet.

Caution Inc has decided it was time to call it a day and hang up our guitars. Our heads are all in very different places and it seemed like now was the right time for all of us. We are not at war. There was no drama.

In saying that, myself, Warren, Stev, and Andrew would like to thank each and every one of you for the constant amazing support. We could not have done what we did without you. To all our fans we love you!

To the bands. Anyone who ever shared a stage with us….THANK YOU!!!! So many amazing bands we couldn’t be able to name them all. You made this whole ride fun and we’ve gained friendships that span across the province and beyond with some of the most rad dudes we could have ever hoped to meet! (Lumbergh, Organ Theives, Hell Yeah Fuck Yeah, Princess Riot, The Red District, I Hate Space Camp, End Program, Black Jacket, Hell Bros.) SO MANY MORE! WE LOVE ALL OF YOU!

Dave Baksh. The guy who taught Caution Inc more than anyone ever has…..thank you. words can’t express it dude!

I could go on all night about everyone but the fact is if you were important to us you know who you are and we love you.

Last Saturday night we played at the Bovine in Toronto with our friends The Von Drats and Noble Blood. Thanks to the Von Drats for having us out! We had a blast. Most of us stayed up way too late because the party just didn’t end, so we spent most of sunday.. and monday.. recovering.

This week we have some exciting things to talk about!
First, THE A.M. PROJECT RECORDS has just released a compilation titled:
“We Want A Place To Go, We Want A Place To Play!” It’s available for free download from theamprojectrecords.com (click on the ALBUMS link). It features CAUTION INC, LUMBERGH, BLACK CAT ATTACK, END PROGRAM, BLACKJACKET, and more amazing durham bands! What have you got to lose? It’s free! GO GET IT!

Next, We’re currently in 33rd position on the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands rankings. Help us out and vote for us at www.battleofthebands.com/cautioninc we’d really like to at least get into the top 20.

Finally, We’re playing TWO shows in western Ontario this weekend.
Saturday May 1st We’ll be in Sarnia, at the Trinity Lounge with Monsters of Shlock, and Black Cat Attack. The following night Sunday May 2nd we’ll be a the Coach and Horses in Windsor, with Black Cat Attack.

Summer tours are currently being booked. So check the shows page often for updates on that.

The Lost Anchor Tattoo Parlour grand opening was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our friends Mike, Bones, and Andrae and their new shop.
Those of you who were there for our set probably noticed a new song pretty much right in the middle of it. If you heard it, LUCKY YOU! no one will hear it again until our next album is released. It was a little taste of what’s to come.

We’re also planning on getting some new merch done up and are throwing around some ideas for that. If you have any suggestions feel free to post them in comments on this.

Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands! We’ve moved up from 228th to 43rd place in less than 2 weeks. THANK YOU to everyone who has been voting. It really means a lot to us to have your support. Keep up the votes! we’re trying to get at least into the top 20!

We have some shows coming up as well. Check the shows page for more info on those. Mini-tours will be coming this summer as well keep checking back for those dates.

WARPED TOUR!

We’re trying to get a spot on the Ernie Ball stage at this years Warped Tour in Toronto. We need YOUR help!

Here’s the details. At the time of posting this we’re currently in 228th position, we need to be at least in the top 100 to be considered. Out of that top 100 a panel of judges will choose 4 bands to be offered a spot on the Ernie Ball stage. It’s something that would be really great for us to accomplish as a band, and here’s how you can help!

head over to http://www.battleofthebands.com/register and create an account (if you don’t want to get a whole pile of promotional emails from them make sure to UNCLICK the 4 boxes at the bottom of the registration screen).

It’s going to be a hell of a party! 8 hours of amazing music, starting at 4pm today! if you’re in the area or can get to the area make sure you don’t miss it. Dear Shwa folks, you probably haven’t seen us around very much lately. We’ve been locked up in our jamspace working on some new songs for an album that we’re planning to record at some point in the next few months. We’re really planning this one out and taking our time. So don’t expect to hear a lot about it till we’re in the middle of it. We do have some shows coming up in the next couple of months (to keep us on our game). Come check out some of those! You might even be lucky enough to hear some previews of our new songs.. maybe.. if you’re all really nice to us.

We’re playing the Atria this Friday (March 5th) with our friends PUNCH DRUNK, and DEVOURED. It’s going to be our last Oshawa show for the next little while. Don’t miss it.

We have some other dates planned as well that are currently being confirmed. More info will follow on those.

Our friends BLACK CAT ATTACK are currently seeking a new guitarist/backup vocalist. Julie Nolan has decided to leave BCA in order to concentrate more on her schooling and personal projects. Best of luck to Julie!
